Alexis Resnick Ph.D. PA

About Me
As a licensed psychologist, I specialize in providing assessment, therapy, and consultation services to children, adolescents, and families with behavioral, academic, developmental, emotional, and social concerns. I also work with adults. I have experience working with a range of populations, including but not limited to ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, anxiety, selective mutism, depression, pica, and autism spectrum disorder. I have worked in various settings including schools, medical centers, and university-based clinics.
I believe in providing each individual with the best quality of care and enjoy collaborating with other professionals to help provide comprehensive services. I tailor services to the individual to address presenting concerns. I employ an active, practical, evidence-based approach to treatment. Services provided include individual therapy, parent training, consultation, and psychological testing.
After graduating as valedictorian at the University of Florida, I received my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University. I currently serve on the board for the Broward Chapter of the Florida Psychological Association. I have presented at various conferences in the field, including the American Psychological Association, Florida Psychological Association, Association for Behavior Analysis International, Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, National Association of School Psychologists, and Florida Association of School Psychologists. In addition, I was an adjunct professor at Broward College, where I taught General Psychology and Adolescent Psychology courses. I have previously assisted in teaching courses on Child and Adolescent Psychopathology, Child and Adolescent Intervention, Interviewing, and Intelligence Assessment. I have a passion for helping people achieve their goals and lead their most successful lives. For more information call Alexis Resnick Ph.D. at 305-771-1522.
